Solar Service in Allen and Nearby Towns

We help homeowners in Allen and the towns around it go solar, add battery storage, fix systems that stopped performing and keep panels clean. Before we plan anything, we look at your home as it really is, including old repairs and aging electrical parts.

The Area We Cover

We're based in Allen and spend most workdays close by. Plano, McKinney, Frisco and Richardson are regular stops, and so are smaller towns such as Fairview, Lucas, Parker, Murphy and Wylie. We also serve The Colony. If your town nearby isn't listed, bring it up when you call and we'll tell you plainly whether we can get to you.

No matter which town you're in, the visit follows the same steps. We look over the roof surface and whatever framing we can get to, open up the electrical panel, and make note of anything an earlier owner or contractor left. Before any plan is made, we explain what we found in everyday terms and what it means for solar panel installation, battery storage or a repair.

What Local Homes Tend to Have

  • Houses built across many decades

The area mixes older homes with newer subdivisions. Older houses often have electrical panels close to full, aluminum or patched wiring, and breakers that have been replaced over time. We check these before anything else so your system hooks up safely and passes inspection.

  • Roofs that have been through storms

Plenty of roofs here have been patched or replaced after storms, some more than once. Before we mount anything, we check for soft decking, shingles that don't match and old holes. If the roof should be dealt with before panels go up, we say so at the start instead of building over a problem.

  • Heat, hail and dust

Long hot summers work panels and inverters hard, and spring storms can bring wind and hail. Between rains, dust and pollen settle on the glass, so panel cleaning and a quick look at mounts and wiring help keep a system producing.

  • City permits and HOA rules

Every city runs its own building and electrical permits, and the utility must approve the hookup before a system can run. Lots of neighborhoods also have an HOA that wants to review where panels go. We take care of the permit paperwork and can walk you through what your HOA will probably request.

  • Systems left by past owners

Some houses come with panels a previous owner put in, sometimes with old inverters and no paperwork. Our solar repair work begins by sorting out what equipment you have, what still runs and what is worth repairing.
